Jens Lehmann, Germany’s world cup hero

In a bad tempered game, that saw the two teams drawing 1-1 after 2 hours of football, it went to penalties. Seeing some guy wearing a Maradona 1976 T-Shirt in the pub, I immediately thought easy money! The Krauts and penalties go together like strawberrries and cream, I wasn’t proven wrong a faultless set of German Pens along with Jens’s heroics, firstly against Ayala and then Cambiasso saw the Hun win 4-2 and me collect a fiver.

Arsenal news sees them linked to Mexican defender Carlos Salcido, as a direct replacement for Sol after his £50k/week move to Pompey. Check out the full story at Gunnerblog

  1. Lets give Jens Lehman another chance. He’s really good but Almunia is also good.
